Denertia Dental Alloys
  • Deloro Stellite does not currently acknowledge compliance to ISO 22674-2006 although we are working towards it.

ISO 22674-2006 is a "technical" standard for products (metallic materials) and accreditation bodies do not offer certification against it.  As a Notified Body, LRQA (Deloro Stellite's notified body) is issuing certification against the Directives involved and not product standards.  The requirement to comply with the standards  is therefore customer driven and not a regulatory requirement.

We are being asked by several customers to comply with this standard and we are working towards this.  Our timeline for compliance is July 2009.

Please be aware that although we do not acknowledge compliance to this standard we do meet the "essential requirements" of the MMD as accredited by LRQA.  LRQA ensures that our technical files are adequate and that our process and product control are carried out in a manner that provides a safe product.

We will provide formal conformation of our compliance to ISO 22674-2006 as soon as we are compliant.
Stelcar
Stelcar is a mixture of carbide particles and self-fluxing nickel or cobalt-based powder.  Stelcar is available only in powder form for coating applications.
Stellite
Stellite is cobalt-based and has best "all-round" wear properties.  It has excellent resistance to high temperatures and very good resistance to corrosion and abrasion.
