Versatile & Efficient

The process begins by packing sand and a binding agent into a wooden or aluminuim pattern creating a sand mould. Two halves of the mould are made and joined together. A molten alloy is poured in and allowed to cool. The sand is then removed from the casting and the remainging cast component can be machined to your exact requirements.

Cobalt, nickel, stainless steel, and a wide range of other alloys can be used in nearly endless patterns making this process extremely versatile and efficient.

Benefits of Sand Casting

  • In-house machining capabilities enable the delivery of a fully machined, complete part, from a single source.
  • Eliminates time and expense of passing material between suppliers.
  • Inexpensive casting process allows for large component sizes and small quantities - as few as one part!
